Name the project and client
Choose a title that identifies the service or phase and a client name you can recognise in your records. Be specific when you have several projects with the same client.
Example: Brand website — Noor Studio — phase one.
Turn promises into deliverables
Specify quantities, formats and requirements that can be checked at handover. The word ‘complete’ alone does not define the agreed work.
Example: Design and build five responsive pages, including a contact form and mobile testing.
Make exclusions explicit
List the items a client might expect that are not included in the price. Identify who supplies content, materials and any necessary subscriptions.
Example: Hosting, domain registration, copywriting and photography are excluded.
State the value and currency
Record the project amount and its currency. If you agree on payment stages or conditions, write them in the notes; itfaqna does not collect those payments.
Illustrative example: Project value of 5,000 MAD. This is a fictional example amount, not a recommended service price.
Connect the deadline to dependencies
Add the agreed delivery date when there is one. Record anything needed to start or meet that date, such as receiving content or design approval.
Example: Work begins after the client supplies text and images and approves the initial design.
Define a revision round
Record the number of rounds and what a round includes. Changing the service or adding deliverables calls for a scope review, not simply another revision.
Example: Two rounds of consolidated feedback on the approved design; an additional page is out of scope.
An example that brings it together
A five-page brand website with an illustrative value of 5,000 MAD, including mobile layouts, a contact form and two revision rounds. Hosting and copywriting are excluded. Both parties agree on a delivery date and record the requirements to begin in the notes.
When the scope changes
Discuss the new request first. Duplicate the agreement and update the deliverables, price and date, then share the new version for confirmation. In itfaqna, editing a copied draft does not change the original published agreement.
Share with the intended client
An agreement link lets its holder view the content and submit a decision while confirmation is pending. Avoid posting it publicly or including passwords or sensitive payment details.
This is a guide to organising project scope. itfaqna does not provide legal advice or guarantees of signing or payment collection.
